Stomper Jack had a near accident with a reckless driver along West Coast Road on the morning of June 7, at around 11am.

The Mercedes driver, with licence plate number EF2D, had stopped beyond the stop line.

He subsequently cut into the Stomper's lane without signalling, hence narrowly avoiding being hit by the latter.

Jack recounted what happened:

"This was near the McDonald's at West Coast.

"I was on the second lane waiting to turn right.

"The Mercedes was parked beyond the stop line and there wasn't a waiting zone.

"When the traffic light's green arrow appeared, the Mercedes on my right simply turned right and cut into my lane without any signals or so. I had to brake to avoid hitting his rear."
