A man who picked up a wallet at a coffee shop at Block 418 Bedok North Avenue 2 has returned it via mail after seeing himself in a video posted on Stomp.

Stomper Kong had shared the video with Stomp saying that he wanted to give the man a "big reward" for the safe return of his wallet.

He had dropped his wallet on Mar 8 at about 4.30pm.

Kong said that he received a call from the man in the video who told him that he had dropped the wallet into a Singapore Post mailbox on Mar 10.

"He said that he saw my post on Stomp," said Kong.

"I informed SingPost and they were able to find my wallet.

"I then retrieved it on Mar 17.

"The money is gone but most importantly, my cards are still intact."

"I would like to thank everyone for their help, they have restored my faith in human kindness.

"A big thank you to the person who picked up my wallet, the kopitiam owner and staff, police officers, SingPost staff and Stomp."
