Man thanks kind driver of last bus from Orchard for waiting for him and making sure he got home safely

Stomper Raven wanted to express his gratitude to the driver of the last bus service 190 yesterday night (Dec 12) who considerately waited for him and his friend to board the bus.

Raven and his friend Jacen had just finished watching a preview screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and were walking towards the bus stop in front of Shaw House at Orchard Road when they saw the bus had already arrived at the bus stop.

"We were just a short distance away but my friend was having leg cramps so he could not run," said the Stomper.

The duo expected the bus to move off but were pleasantly surprised when the driver patiently waited for them to board the bus.

When they boarded and asked if it was the last bus service of the night, the bus driver confirmed that it was.

"I thought we would never make it but the driver was alert and made sure all his passengers boarded the bus," Raven said.

"We are very happy and would like to say a big thank you to the driver of bus service 190 (SMB3598H) for going the extra mile to ensure his passengers get home safely.

"We could have missed the bus home without him.

"Like anyone of us, everyone wants to knock off and go back as soon as possible.

"Fortunately, this bus driver spotted us with his sharp eyes. You made our day. Thank you so much!"
