One of the seven suspects was brought back to Lower Peirce Reservoir, where he is believed to have discarded the samurai sword.

A 27-year-old man suffered serious injuries after being attacked by four men along Serangoon Road in Little India on Wednesday afternoon (July 25).

Several Stompers alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos that have been circulating online, including images that showed the victim lying on the road.

Stomp understands that the four men had used a samurai sword and a kitchen knife on the victim at a bus stop in front of Broadway Hotel.

The group then fled in a rental car.

Police are still on a manhunt for the four suspects.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of voluntarily causing grievous hurt with dangerous means at 202 Serangoon Road at 2.21pm.

The victim was conscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Stomp understands that he sustained wounds on the back of his head, arms and legs.

Police investigations are ongoing.
