Man pushed police officer, bragged about being from gang after getting into fight at f.Club

A 22-year-old man allegedly got into a fight in a club along River Valley Road and then used force against a police officer on May 14 last year, at around 4.10am.

Gavin Ng Wee Kian is believed to have punched another man, Mr Sim Yi En, at f.Club, reported The Straits Times.

When police officers arrived at the scene, Ng was reportedly uncooperative and pushed one of the officers on his right shoulder, said the police in a statement yesterday (April 15).

"The suspect also flaunted his secret society affiliation after he was arrested by the police," added the statement.

Ng was charged in court today (April 16) with being a member of an unlawful society, as well as for committing affray and using criminal force against a public servant.

He was offered a bail of $5,000. His trial will continue on May 7.
