Man gets up to 14 nuisance texts about moneylending services in 1 night

Stomper Jac has been receiving offers for moneylending services via text ever since a couple weeks ago.

This is despite him having registered his number under the Personal Data Protection Commission's (PDPC) Do Not Call (DNC) Registry back in March.

Jac said he received another 14 of these messages just last night (May 31).

According to him, he has been bombarded by loan offers within a short span of time on an almost daily basis.

"I would receive it one day, then it would stop for like, five days before I start receiving it again," said Jac.

"I do not even know if registering my number in the DNC is effective.

"I wanted to make a report about this to the PDPC but decided to just share this with Stomp to spread awareness about this issue, and find better solutions to block all these messages."
