Stomper Nor's husband was scrolling through job listings posted on online marketplace Carousell on Monday (Mar 5) when he found one that looked promising: A driving job offering $80 an hour.

"They advertised a good job and my husband was interested so he messaged the person to get more details," said Nor.

However, when he received a reply detailing exactly what the job was about, he was shocked.

"They told my husband that the job involves delivering contraband cigarettes from Johor Bahru (JB) to Singapore," she said.

"It was a surprise because they used photos of BlueSG cars but had nothing to do with it at all."

Nor told Stomp that her husband then declined the offer immediately.

"I wanted to post this on Stomp to warn other job seekers about this."
