Lau Lup finds "probably the biggest and longest caterpillar in Singapore"

Stomper Lau Lup spotted a giant caterpillar at the bus stop near Block 23, Sin Ming Road on Dec 13.

Photos that he contributed show the hairy creature on a leaf among some bushes.

Lau Lup said: "The caterpillar is very hairy and is as long as my hand.

"Does anyone know what butterfly or moth species this is?

"I think this is probably the biggest and longest caterpillar in Sin Ming if not Singapore!"
