Large snail offering a lift to smaller snail will make your heart melt

Stomper and local wildlife enthusiast Lau Lup braved the rain to take a video of a large snail carrying a smaller snail at North Bridge Road on Friday morning (Oct 6).

He described the sight as cute and heartwarming. He wrote in a post to Stomp:

'The ground is waterlogged. A bigger snail is seen offering a life for a smaller snail in order to prevent the latter from drowning. Despite being each other's competitor for food and being of different species, this gentle giant is still altruistic enough to help its smaller competitor."

He concluded by saying, "I hope people can be more aware of their surroundings and see the joy of nature around them. We humans have so much to learn (from this)."
