Kind Grab driver allows passenger to pay remaining fare via bank transfer as she had insufficient cash

A Grab driver made Stomper Rose's day by being understanding and "super nice".

At around 8am yesterday (May 23), Rose took a GrabTaxi from Kallang to Singapore Polytechnic, because she was running late for school.

She later realised that she did not have sufficient money.

"I did not bring enough money to pay the full fare of $20, I only had $15 with me," said Rose.

"But the uncle was super nice and gave me his phone number and bank account number so that I would be able to transfer the remaining amount to him.

"His kind gesture really made my day and I would like to thank him for being so understanding."

Rose has since paid the driver the remaining amount.
