Kim Jong Un impersonator attracts crowd of onlookers at Northpoint City's Jinjja Chicken

Ever wondered if North Korean leader Kim Jong Un enjoys Korean fried chicken?

Well, we know that his impersonator does.

You may have seen the Hong Kong-based "fake" Kim, known as Howard X, pop up on your social media or at one of his several appearances around the island.

He arrived at Koran eatery Jinjja Chicken at Northpoint City on Sunday (June 10) at about 6.30pm to have a sit-down dinner with the eatery's mascot.

You may have seen the Hong Kong-based fake Kim, known as Howard X, pop up on your social media or seen him at one of his several appearances around the island.

The duo gamely posed for photos with signs reading "#I♥JINJJACHICKEN" and "#WORLDPEACE".

A throng of people crowded around the restaurant trying to get a glimpse of the impersonator who was dressed in the leader's signature Mao-style suit with a North Korean flag pin and thick-rimmed glasses.

He also had Mr Kim's iconic haircut on point.

Can world peace really be achieved over fried chicken? It couldn't hurt.
