While most of us will have to wait until November or later for the much coveted iPhone X, guess who has already got his hands on the special edition smartphone?

Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday morning (Sept 13), JJ shared several photos and videos of his visit to Apple's swanky new campus in Cupertino, California.

He wrote: "It was an amazing experience, to witness the next step in technology, and how the (Apple) team continues to push boundaries and change lives through their core beliefs."

The post garnered over 16,000 'likes' and over 300 shares in the span of five hours.

JJ was invited to the highly anticipated event and exchanged a few words with Apple CEO Tim Cook, and could be heard telling the latter how he was "really inspired" by the tech giant.

Some eagle-eyed fans also spotted the singer sitting among the audience during the product presentation in the Steve Jobs Auditorium.

Over the past few years, Taiwanese actor Jimmy Lin made Apple fans green with envy by toting the latest iPhone before the official launch, but it seems that he has lost the bragging rights to JJ.

And this is not the first time the 36-year-old singer has hung out with Cook.

JJ flew to Beijing and had a jam session with him last May using Apple's GarageBand app.

Way to put Singapore on the world map, JJ.
