Japanese superstar Takuya Kimura turns himself in for police investigation after causing chain collision

Japanese superstar Takuya Kimura has turned himself in to the police for investigations after he allegedly caused a chain collision while driving in Sengawacho, Tokyo in Japan. 

The star had reportedly lost his footing on the brakes after being momentarily distracted, colliding into a motorcycle in front, which in turn, crashed into another vehicle ahead of it, reports Shin Min Daily News via Lianhe Zaobao. 

A spokesperson for the managing company of Kimura said:

“Takuya is very sorry for the accident and for causing trouble to the victims and his fans.

“He offers his most sincere apology for letting everyone worry.”

When he was questioned by the police later, Kimora said:

“I was in deep thought and accidentally let go of the brakes.”
