It's good to celebrate joyous occasions, but shouldn't you clean up after that?

Stomper Mr D was concerned after seeing what he described as a "war zone" at Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4 yesterday (Oct 18).

Rubbish was strewn all over the amphitheatre next to Block 450A.

"Everyone has a part to play in this community and to be considerate even during the festive season," he said.

"We also have to spare some thoughts for others and not take public places for granted."

He shared photos with Stomp of the area which showed confetti, wrappers and boxes strewn on the ground.

"This area is actually a morning exercise place for many of the senior citizens in my estate," he added.

"However, due to the mess, they had to do their morning exercise elsewhere which caused a lot of inconveniences."
