Police called in after scuffle breaks out outside St James Power Station

A scuffle broke out among several groups of men outside St James Power Station at Harbourfront this morning (Sep 16) at around 3am.

Stomper RR was in the area when the incident took place and alerted Stomp to what happened.

In a telephone interview, he reported seeing four to five groups of men shouting and shoving at each other.

He estimated the total number of people involved to be around 50.

When he was at the scene, he saw people running towards as well as away from where the commotion was going on.

Around 10 minutes later, two policemen arrived in response to what happened. Several more then came to the scene thereafter.

The dispute died down subsequently and the crowd eventually dispersed at around 3.45am.
