Here's the last thing you'd want to find inside your toilet bowl

On a list of things you never want to find in your toilet, this probably ranks somewhere right at the top.

A video posted on The Daily Star shows a man finding a snake 'lurking' inside a toilet bowl of a home.

Based on the footage, the tail end of the serpent was protruding out from the opening where waste is flushed down.

The man then started pulling out the snake.

At around the 30-second mark of the video, he successfully removed the creature from the toilet bowl.

It was more than one metre long judging from the footage.

Towards the end of the video, the man can be heard saying that he will release the snake, but did not specify where.
