Stomper Angela would like to commend a helpful GrabCar driver who went above and beyond his call of duty when he picked the Stomper and her family up at the Immigrations & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) at Lavender at around 9.30am today (May 30).

Upon arriving at the pickup point, the Stomper told Stomp that the driver, Mr Leong Kim Sing, got out of the car to assist her 88-year-old wheelchair-bound mother into his car and helped her with her seatbelt.

She added that as her helper was retrieving a bottle she had left at ICA, Mr Leong waited patiently 'without a sulky or grumbling attitude'. Upon arriving at the destination, he even helped her mother back to the wheelchair and politely addressed her as 'Ah ma'.

She said:

"This touched me deeply. Mr Leong, you truly deserve my greatest respect for such an excellent service.

"Keep up your good work. God bless your kind heart."
