Geylang assault case: Two more Bangladeshi arrested and charged for murder

Two more Bangladeshi men have been arrested for their alleged involvement a case of Unnatural Death at Geylang Lorong 24A, said the Police in an official statement. 

The case first came to light when 42-year-old Lim Leong Tat was found beaten to death in an alley at Geylang Lorong 24A on July 9. 

The victim had allegedly attempted to mediate a fight between the suspects and another group prior to getting assaulted. 

The police subsequently arrested two Bangladeshi men in connection to the case.

The latest arrest marks the fourth suspect, who was charged in Court today (July 15) with an offence of murder. 

The third suspect was charged on July 14 with murder. 

If convicted, both could be sentenced to death.
