Kids at Jamiyah Children's Home were given a pleasant surprise when a group of Good Samaritans visited them with snacks and drinks yesterday afternoon (May 18) at around 4.30pm.

Stomper Gina shared how Mr Anafi, a personal trainer, had planned the event and dropped by the children's home together with a few clients, friends and family.

She was heartened to see him introducing charity work to his clients and wanted to honour him as well.

Said the Stomper:

"It's heartwarming when a group of kind-hearted souls come together to bring some delights to the hearts of Jamiyah Children's Home.

"Mr Anafi, a personal trainer, had gracefully planned this thoughtful giving. Together with his clients, family and friends, he had garnered them to come together and raised funds so that these children would get to enjoy a nice afternoon tea break.

"There's so much appreciation for their generosity and support for the happiness of these children. They should be honoured for their giving and we should cultivate these in our society! Kudos to all of them!

"As the quote goes, 'The life of a man consists not in seeing visions and in dreaming dreams, but in active charity and in willing service.'"
