Thailand assembles 'Pokemon Buster' squad to catch Pokemon Go players who break rules

Bangkok residents have complained about careless Pokemon Go players who have endangered the lives of motorists and pedestrians by recklessly driving or walking around busy Bangkok area to catch Pokemons.

The Thai government responded by dispatching a "Pokemon Buster" squad to crackdown on players who break the rules on August 21.

As part of the "Pokemon Traffic No Go" campaing, the squad consists of 50 police officers who patrol Bangkok's busies roads, reports Viral Thread.

According to Bangkok Coconuts, 42 people have already been caught driving and catching Pokemons.

Each have been fined THB 1,000 for violating the Land Transport Act which bands the use of mobile phones while driving.
