Thai teacher canes 7-year-old student 99 times for requesting an early dismissal

In Thailand, a 7-year-old primary school student was allegedly caned by his 23-year-old teacher 99 times because the boy tried to leave the classroom slightly earlier.

Not only was the boy’s body swollen, his back, arms and buttocks were all covered in angry red marks and he also suffered from a high fever as the result of his punishment reports World of Buzz. 

Despite the situation, the teacher remained unapologetic, but offered to compensate the boy when confronted by the kid’s angry parents. 

The parents refused his offer, citing that he did not feel guilty for his actions and the punishment meted out was simply inhuman. 

They have lodged a report to the police and the case is currently under investigation.
