Popular Instagrammer dies after 'train-surfing' in New York

A popular photographer and online personality who is famous for his stunning pictures of New York City died on Oct 5, after reportedly trying to climb on top of a moving train.

According to New York Post, 25-year-old Christopher Serrano was trying to surf a train in Brooklyn when he fell at around 5am.

The tragedy reportedly happened before Serrano, who is believed to have been intoxicated, even managed to gain his balance on the train car.

His body was found on the roadbed shortly after.

Serrana is known for his breathtaking photos of the city skyline, some of which show him perched on skyscrapers and bridges.

Fans have been leaving their condolences on his posts ever since news of his death broke.
