Mum believes disabled busker in viral video is her missing daughter who ran away 15 years ago

A mother in Shandong, China, believes that a disabled busker in a viral video is her missing daughter who ran away from home.

According to Shanghaiist, Mou Cuicui left her house in Guanrao county 15 years ago and her family has not heard from her since.

Recently, her younger brother came across a video showing a woman without hands and feet singing on the street for money. He thought she looked familiar and showed the video to his family.

After watching the video multiple times, Mou's mother believes the woman in the video is her long-lost daughter.

The former began to sob as Mou still had her limbs intact when she left home.

A hashtag on an appeal to netizens to help locate Mou has garnered more 50,000 comments on Weibo, but so far the family has still been unsuccessful in their search for the busker.

Authorities managed to track down the person who shot the video, but she too was unable to provide any information about the whereabouts of Mou.
