Man gets stuck in toilet bowl after climbing in to retrieve lost phone

Guys, please don't ever do this if your phone somehow ends up inside a toilet bowl.

A man in Norway tried to climb feet first into a toilet bowl to retrieve a friend's phone.

According to Metro via Asian Town, the toilet tank is connected to the sewer system, but is an old-fashioned outhouse-style loo that is only emptied once a season.

The 20-year-old then found himself stuck after attempting to get the phone. 

He stood in a thigh-high pool of urine and faeces before he was rescued.

To get him out, firefighters had to destroy the toilet bowl to get him out.

Needless to say, the phone was not retrieved.
