'Freakish' snail in Bishan is nothing like the brown ones you usually see

Stomper Lau Lup found a large and unusual-looking snail in Bishan last Friday morning (July 22).

Bigger in size and with a whitish shell, it was nothing like the common garden snail one would usually find outdoors.

Said the Stomper:

"I have seen this large snail with its typical dark brown striped shell since childhood.

"However last Friday morning in Bishan, I saw this freakish-looking snail for the first time!

"This particular snail seemed to have a light yellow shell. The strips of its shell is whitish unlike the usual colour.

"I was intrigued and deliberately took pictures of this freakish-looking snail with the typical one beside it for comparison.

"What do readers think?"
