Fire breaks out in Clementi flat

A fire broke out in a flat at Block 422 Clementi Avenue 1 on Tuesday night (Mar 3).
Stomper Ashbil, who submitted a video showing smoke billowing from the unit, said that he heard a loud explosion.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that it was alerted to the incident at 9.56pm and extinguished the fire using a hose reel.
There were no reported injuries.
