Female passenger taken to hospital after accident involving taxi and car in Ang Mo Kio

A woman was taken to hospital after a taxi she was riding in collided with a car at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 on Wednesday night (May 2).

Stomper NoorWhirlzWindz alerted Stomp to the accident and shared photos from the scene that were circulating on WhatsApp.

In the photos, the taxi had crashed onto a pavement and the front of the car had hit the road's central divider.

In response to Stomp's media queries, a police spokesman said that they were alerted to an accident involving a taxi and a car at the said location at 11.40pm.

"The taxi passenger, a 30-year-old woman, was conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital," the spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
