Female jaywalker hit by bike when running across road in Yishun, sent flying with motorcyclist

A female pedestrian was hit by a motorcycle while running across the road, causing both of them to fall onto the ground.

The incident occurred along Yishun Avenue 2, near Khatib MRT Station and towards Yishun Ring Road, on April 25 at around 5.58pm.

A video that Stomper Rohaizat submitted to Stomp today (May 24) shows how the woman had been running across the road when the collision took place.

The motorcyclist was thrown off his bike while the woman was flung against a passing car.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car, a motorcycle and a pedestrian at 6.14pm.

The motorcyclist, a 47-year-old man, and the 28-year-old female pedestrian were conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
