Female driver in her 40s injured after car flips along Upper Thomson Road

A female driver in her 40s was injured after her car flipped along Upper Thomson Road at around 9am today (Jun 10).

Stomper Bryden alerted Stomp to what happened after driving past the scene of the accident. 

He is unclear what happened, but reported seeing SCDF personnel trying to rescue the driver who was stuck in the car.

Said an SCDF spokesperson in response to a Stomp query:

"SCDF received a call at 9.10am for an accident at the junction of Upper Thomson Road and Island Club Road.

"Upon arrival, SCDF stabilised the car and rescued the driver at the driver's seat.

"A Chinese woman in her 40s was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital."
