Man rushes to extinguish flames after car catches fire at Toa Payoh Lor 2

Stomper JKCS was at Toa Payoh Lorong 2 today (Sep 2) when he saw a car had caught fire on the road.

"I saw the man running to put out the fire," said the Stomper.

"He got the fire extinguisher from a nearby Esso petrol station."

In a video shared by JKCS, the man can be seen quickly putting out the flames as smoke engulfs his car.

It appears like the fire did not get too out of hand and he managed to extinguish the fire in just a few seconds.

Stomp has found out that the man who rushed to put out the fire is Lim Boon Peng, a passer-by.

Despite it not being his car, he wanted to help quickly extinguish the fire.

"I am just a passer-by who extinguished the fire. I do not know who is the driver or owner of the car," he said.
