Driver of Toyota SKZ6170K plays braking game, recklessly switches lanes along SLE

The driver of a Toyota Hellfire SKZ6170K was caught on video driving recklessly along the Seletar Expressway (SLE) towards the Tampines Expressway (TPE).

A video of the incident which was captured on another driver’s dashboard camera was uploaded on SG Road Vigilante’s Facebook page, which shows the Toyota driver abruptly cutting into the said motorist’s lane while the two were in a tunnel.

According to the timestamp in the video, the incident happened at about 9.32am on Thursday (May 24).

In the video, the Toyota driver is suddenly seen cutting into the rightmost lane from the left.

The Toyota driver also plays the 'braking game', causing the motorist to engage his emergency brakes to avoid a collision.

During the process, the Toyota driver also did not signal his intention to switch lanes.

However, that was not the end.

After overtaking the motorist, the Toyota driver is later seen rapidly changing from the middle lane to the rightmost lane, despite the presence of an oncoming white car.

The driver of the white car is forced to use his brakes to avoid hitting the Toyota ahead.

Netizens have reacted in anger to the Toyota driver’s actions.

Many called for the case to be reported to the police.

Said a Facebook user”

“Shouldn't let this kind of driver on the road...Endangering others road users…!"

Others felt that there was more to this.

Said a netizen:

"Both at faults lah. Move on.

"Something must have happened earlier between these 2 drivers.

"The Vellfire playing brakes with the driver who submitted this video. Must hear both sides of stories."
