What did you eat for your last meal of 2017?

Stomper Lim's experience would forever be a memorable one as he was accompanied by a cockroach -- inside his food.

Lim had ordered Thai chicken chop from Killiney Kopitiam's Upper East Coast Road outlet on Dec 31, at around 8.30pm.

He told Stomp: "The food arrived with a deep fried cockroach in it.

"It is with great horror and dismay that I have to end my last meal of 2017 in such a revolting manner, especially with my family.

According to Lim, who lives near the eatery and has been eating there since his primary school days, staff at the stall apologised and replaced his food with a new set.

"I hope the authorities are able to do something about this and let residents who dine in that area have an experience that is pleasant," added the Stomper, who has also informed the National Environment Agency (NEA) about the incident.
