Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun Fat turned 63 years old on May 18.

His Singaporean wife, Jasmine Tan, threw him a surprise birthday gathering that was attended by celebrity friends such as actor Alex Fong.

Chow, who said his birthday wish was to continue hiking, was in a lively mood and danced with 81-year-old veteran star Patrick Tse-yin.

According to Sin Chew Daily via The Star, Tan got a birthday cake that displayed two figurines of her sitting on Chow’s lap.

"Wishing you a happy birthday, good health and may your dreams come true," said Tan.
