Car flips over in AMK accident with taxi, 65-year-old driver arrested for suspected drink-driving

A 65-year-old man was arrested for suspected drink-driving after the car that he was driving collided with a taxi along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8 on Saturday night (June 2).

Stomper Catt contributed a video showing the overturned car at the scene.

The police were also there.

Stomper Amos, who passed by the accident site, added: "Looks like the car collided with a CityCab Prius before turning turtle."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident involving a car and a taxi at 11.28pm.

No one was injured.

"A 65-year-old man was arrested for suspected drink-driving," said a police spokesman.

Stomp understands that the man was the car driver.

Police investigations are ongoing.
