Car flips over after accident involving 2 vehicles along Pandan Gardens

A car flipped on its side while another was badly damaged after an accident along Pandan Gardens towards West Coast Road on at 11.06am on Thursday (June 14).

Stomper Jamie Handsome was on his way to meet a friend when he came across the accident site at around 11.30am.

He took some photos which he sent to Stomp. 

According to Jamie, the drivers and passengers of both cars appeared to be unscathed in the accident, with the exception of a man who suffered superficial injuries. 

A silver car was flipped on its side.

Another white car stopped a few metres from it, its front smashed in.

An ambulance and officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were also at the scene. 

Jamie then spoke to some elderly folks who had gathered in the vicinity.

Said Jamie:

"I asked an auntie how come there seems to be trouble in this place every day."

The elderly woman then allegedly told him that there were many accidents in the area and that it was 'unsafe'. 

After a brief chat, Jamie went on his way. 

In response to a Stomp query, a police spokesman said:

“On June 14, 2018, at 11.06am, the police were alerted to an accident involving two cars along Pandan Gardens towards West Coast Road.

“No injuries were reported. Police investigations are ongoing.“
