Bus hits and knocks over lamp post at Sims Ave

A bus hit a lamp post, knocking it over at the junction of Sims Avenue and Jalan Eunos yesterday afternoon (Sep 3).

Stomper Shahidah was standing at a bus stop nearby when she saw it happen.

In a photo, Shahidah shared, the lamp post had bent and was leaning over traffic.

In response to Stomp media queries, a police spokesman provided the following lines:

"One Sep 2 at 3.30pm, the police were alerted to an accident involving a bus at the junction of Sims Avenue and Jalan Eunos.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
