BMW crashes into drain after hitting pedestrian at Bukit Timah Rd

A BMW driver crashed into a drain after hitting a pedestrian along Bukit Timah Road towards Upper Bukit Timah Road yesterday (Nov 7) at around 9pm.

Stomper Ivan shared photos taken at the scene of the accident with Stomp via WhatsApp.

The BMW appeared to have crashed through a barrier before ending up sideways in the drain.

In response to Stomp media queries, a police spokesman said that they were alerted to the accident at 9.07pm.

The 57-year-old male car driver and 31-year-old male pedestrian were conscious when they were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
