Stomper Uwaisullah was riding his motorcycle along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on May 16 when he got into an accident with a BMW that had abruptly entered his lane.

The accident occurred towards Changi, before the Central Expressway (CTE) and Upper Serangoon Road exit, at about 8.15am.

Uwaisullah said: "I was riding on the second lane at about 67km/h to 68km/h, when a BMW on the first lane entered my lane without signalling.

"He then signalled for awhile, only to cancel it again.

"I honked and jammed on my brakes. However, the BMW driver also jammed on the brakes, thus causing a collision."

According to Uwaisullah, he and his pillion rider fell off the motorcycle.

"My pillion rider, a guy, suffered abrasions.

"I went to the clinic and was given three days of medical leave (MC).

"However, my neck and back pains got worse so I went to the National University Hospital (NUH) for another check-up.

"I was told that the pain was from the impact of the accident. They gave me stronger painkillers and another three days of MC."

The accident also left Uwaisullah's motorcycle damaged.

Added the Stomper: "The front of the bike is damaged. There are scratches all over and the side mirror is broken.

"If you have video footage of the accident, do help me out as the BMW did not have a camera installed. The car behind us was Malaysia-registered and did not have a camera either.

"Thank you."
