Badly flattened tortoise with broken shell found in the middle of road at Tampines

Stomper Raznienur spotted a dead tortoise that was badly flattened and had its shell crushed in the middle of the road at Tampines West yesterday (Jan 25).

It is unclear if the animal had been abused and abandoned, or if it had gotten into an unfortunate accident.

Said the Stomper:

"Found this badly flattened and damaged tortoise in the middle of the road at my house's carpark in Tampines West, at around 5pm yesterday.

"I don't know who's the culprit. If they don't wanna take care of it, at least give it up to someone who cares.

"I put it on one side of a pavement.

"Humans are cruel! I hope the person who did this will feel guilty all his/her life! May the tortoise come back and be a ghost to haunt that fella!"
