Around 20 people evacuated after fire breaks out at Block 68 Geylang Bahru

A fire broke out at Block 68 Geylang Bahru last night (Sep 11) at around 8pm.

Stompers Fitzy, Jeffrey and AJM shared photos and videos from the scene.

Smoke can be seen coming from the block's higher floors.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to the fire at around 8.18pm.

About 20 people were evacuated from the block by the police.

There are no reported injuries.
