Lau Lup was fascinated by a cotton plant he stumbled upon in Buangkok today (Dec 20).

The plant had boomed and produced bolls (which become 'cotton balls').

It looked ready for harvesting as the bolls had cracked open.

"I didn't know cotton plants can be grown in a pot and produce cotton at our own doorsteps in Singapore!" exclaimed the Stomper.

Cotton is a warm climate plant which cannot survive below 15 degrees Celcius.

According to local gardening enthusiasts, the temperature in Singapore is perfect for growing them.
