Stomper Ezhar came across an object that resembled a skull of an animal or marine creature at Changi Beach on Jun 15.

In the photos sent by the Stomper, the 'skull' looked to have empty eye sockets as well as a snout.

Cavities can also be seen on the object, suggesting that it might have been on the beach for some time.

Remains of marine creatures have been spotted at coastal areas of Singapore in the past.

Last week (Jul 6), the carcass of a dolphin was discovered on the beach at East Coast Park.

In 2015, a dead sperm whale washed up on Jurong Island. Its skeleton was preserved at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, which is part of the National University of Singapore (NUS).
