39-year-old man arrested for allegedly molesting bus commuter sitting in front of him

A 39-year-old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty that occurred on a bus.

According to the police, a 28-year-old reported on Feb 10 that she had been molested while on board a public service bus traveling along Burgundy Rise.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect had molested the victim while he was seated behind her.

The victim approached the bus captain for assistance and the suspect was detained on board until the police arrived.

The suspect was subsequently arrested and will be charged in court today (Feb 12).
