A 32-year-old man was arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of theft involving a motorcycle.
On July 20, the police received a report of a motorcycle being stolen from the carpark of Block 605 Hougang Avenue 4.
Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division subsequently conducted extensive ground enquiries and established the identity of the suspect.
He was arrested on July 27 along Sentosa Gateway, said the police in a news release.
The stolen motorcycle was also recovered along Seah Im Road.
The suspect was charged in court on July 29 with an offence of Theft of Motor Vehicle under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.
If convicted, he faces a maximum jail term of seven years and shall also be liable to a fine.
