3 women arrested in Jurong anti-vice raid after advertising sexual services online

Three women aged between 26 and 44 were arrested on July 10 for their suspected involvement in vice-related activities.

The trio were apprehended during a raid conducted by police officers at a residential unit along Jurong West Street 65. They allegedly made use of their temporary stay in Singapore to commit vice-related offences.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the women have been advertising their sexual services on various online platforms. 

Police investigations are ongoing. 

Any person who keeps, manages or assists in the management of a brothel shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $3,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years or to both. 

In a statement, the police said they will continue to clamp down on such vice-related activities and those who engage in such activities will be dealt with sternly in accordance with the law.
