27-year-old Taiwanese woman does solo wedding photoshoot after being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer

When Q May Chen, 27, found out that she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, she decided she needed to make her childhood fantasies come true.

One of them was to have a wedding with a beautiful photoshoot.

In an interview with BuzzFeed via Distractify, she said: "When I was younger, I loved to dress up and always hoped that I would one day be able to do my own wedding shoot when I got married."

The Taiwan native decided to go ahead with the shoot despite the fact that she is single and that she would be posing sans groom.

However, she did not seem fazed by that.

"I realised that even though I am alone, I can accomplish so much in life," she said. "You don't need to wait for someone to complete you."

She is even planning on going for a honeymoon -- with her mother.

"I couldn't have known that stage four cancer was waiting for me, but I'm making the most of the limited time we all have," she said.

"I feel like sometimes it may seem like God has made you fall over, but maybe it's actually him pushing you to achieve something more."

Her story and photos that she posted on her Facebook page has since gone viral and has inspired people all over the world.
