21-year-old police officer taken to hospital after 2-car accident in Bedok

A police officer was taken to hospital after an accident involving a police vehicle and a car in Bedok on Saturday morning (July 14).

The accident occurred at the junction of Bedok North Road and Bedok Reservoir Road.

Stomper Alim shared photos of the accident which he said his friend had taken, showing a damaged road divider and a fallen lamp post.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 11.03am.

A 21-year-old police officer was conscious when conveyed to Changi General Hospital.

Stomp understands that he was a passenger in the police vehicle.

Police investigations are ongoing.
