Two men were sent to the hospital after an accident involving a taxi and a lorry at the junction of Elias Road and Pasir Ris Drive 3 earlier today afternoon (Jan 2).

A Stomper contributed a photo of the accident, showing the taxi with its front bumper badly wrecked and debris strewn around the road.

A pool of dark liquid on the ground is believed to be oil from the taxi.

Responding to queries by Stomp, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 1.58pm.

The taxi driver and lorry passenger were both conscious when conveyed to Changi General Hospital (CGH).

Police investigations are ongoing.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) also confirmed the incident.
