Two men were sent to the hospital after an accident involving three cars occurred along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) yesterday (Dec 1) at about 5pm.

Stomper Ting Hao said he was heading home from work at around 5.10pm and encountered a "massive jam" on the PIE towards Changi Airport, before Jurong Town Hall.

He told Stomp: "Upon driving closer, I realised that there was an accident where a white MPV had knocked another car into the road shoulder and into the bushes."

In response to media queries by Stomp, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving three cars at 5.01pm.

Two male car drivers were conscious when conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
