10-year-old car passenger injured in accident with van at Clementi junction

A 10-year-old boy was injured in an accident, involving a car and a van, at the junction of Clementi Road and Clementi Avenue 2 on Wednesday morning (July 4).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at around 7.15am.

"A 10-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the car, was conscious when taken to the National University Hospital," said a police spokesman.

A video posted on Facebook shows a damaged car and a Traffic Police motorcycle at the accident scene.
